Challenges I might face next year. I don’t really know what kind of challenges I might face next year, maybe with grades, but if that happens again I know what to do.

The Glass castle is a true story about Jeannette Walls growing up from a three-year-old girl to a young woman. If you like to read about true stories and memoirs, so this would be a great book to read!
This book is called The Glass Castle. The author is Jeannette Walls, she is also the main character in the book. The genre is a memoir.
The main plot is about Jeannette growing up with her three siblings and parents. The main character is Jeannette Walls. Then her three siblings, Brian, Lori, and Maureen. Their father taught them many subjects and how to live life to the fullest, but when he drank, he was destructive, dishonest, and did not want the responsibly of raising the family. Their mother was a free spirit woman who did not like the idea of just being a housewife and did not want the idea of raising the family. And because of that the children learned to take care of themselves and each other. They clothed, protected and fed each other over the years until they got to New York to get away from their parents. But their parents decided to follow them anyways, choosing to be homeless as their children became more successful than them.
I loved this book because of all the adventure and success the children got to experience. I think other people would really like it as I did because they get to read how chaotic, and the amazing things Jeannette went through in life. The big lesson learned in this book is how to overcome things and keep going when things get tough and stay positive.
